The Planning Board is responsible for providing policy, ordinance, and development proposal recommendations to the City Council.
The Planning Board workload as an advisory body includes:
Land Development District Map Amendment petitions (Rezoning)
Conditional District Overlay petitions
Special Use Permit applications
The Planning Board convenes twice per month to address:
Zoning Amendments (including Conditional District Master Plans),
LDO Text Amendments,
Special Use Permits (SUPs),
Infill Subdivision Special Exceptions, and
Long-range Area Planning & Studies
Regular board meetings are held at 217 South Main Street in the Council Chambers of City Hall.
