The Code Services Division is
responsible for the enforcement of the City of Salisbury Zoning Ordinance including
building setbacks, parking requirements, landscaping and signs. The Zoning
Administrator staffs the Zoning Board of Adjustment. Any questions regarding the
ordinance can be directed to the Zoning Administrator, David Phillips, at 110 North Main Street, or by
telephone at 704-638-5212.

Rezoning requests, whether in the form of
map or text amendments, are handled by Preston Mitchell. Requests for
rezoning petitions or general rezoning questions can be directed by telephone at
704-638-5244 or visiting 110 North Main Street,. In addition to
processing rezoning requests, Preston Mitchell also staffs the Salisbury
Planning Board.
