The former Salisbury Fire House and City Building, built in 1897, stands at 117 South Lee Street.  This two-story late Victorian brick public building was built for a cost of $3,500 and housed the Fire Department on the first floor, the city jail in a one-story rear section, and city offices on the second floor.   It existed as a fire station until the early 1960s.
