Section 7.01. Map for recordation submittal.
Any map for recordation that does not constitute a subdivision shall be submitted to the subdivision administrator who shall determine that the requirements of this ordinance are not applicable. Such determination shall be affixed to the map for recordation as shown in section 7.02. One (1) print shall be retained by and become a permanent record of the city. There shall be no filing fee for such a map.

Section 7.02. Map for recordation requirements.
A map for recordation shall be drawn at an appropriate engineering scale as required by the Register of Deeds of Rowan County. A map for recordation shall be prepared on mylar as required by the Register of Deeds of Rowan County and conform to all map laws that are applicable thereto. A map for recordation shall show at least the following information:
1. The lines of all streets and roads.
2. Lot lines and lot numbers.
3. A note identifying minimum building setback requirements.
4. Reservations, easements, alleys and any areas dedicated to public use or sites other than residential use with notes stating their purpose and limitations.
5. Sufficient data to determine readily and reproduce on the ground the location, bearing, length of every street line, lot line, boundary line, block line and building line whether curved or straight and including true north or North Carolina State Plane North. This should include radius, central angle, point of tangency, tangent distance and arcs and chords of all curved streets and curved property lines.
6. The names and location of adjoining subdivisions and streets, and the location and ownership of adjoining unsubdivided property.
7. Title, date, name and location of subdivision, and graphic scale.
8. Names of engineer, surveyor and/or land planner.
9. The location and type of utility easement.
10. Form for map for recordation certification: The following certification shall be affixed to the map for recordation in such a manner as to insure that said certificate will be legible on any prints made therefrom:
I hereby certify that this is a map for recordation and does not constitute a subdivision of land.
