Brotherhood Ride Stops In Salisbury
Posted by admin in News, PostsOver two dozen firefighters traveling on road bicycles from Naples, Florida made a quick stop at Salisbury Fire Department's Station 2 to change into fire helmets before riding to the Firefighters memorial for an official welcoming from Salisbury City Mayor, Fire and Police Chiefs, as well as the Salisbury Elks Club.
The riders will end their tour at Ground Zero in New York City. Their goal is to raise funds for the families of the firefighters and police officers lost on September 11, 2001.
After departing from the memorial, the riders will head over to the Elks Club for food and much needed rest.
The Salisbury Fire Department was honored to escort their fellow brothers through the city limits, and wish them all safe travels on their continued tour to Ground Zero.
